Public Speech & Presentation Program

Public Speech & Presentation Program
Featured Program

Whether a student is looking to build his/her strength in leadership skills, he/she is interested in exploring the art of persuasion, or he/she is aiming to achieve a high score on their final presentation at school, the DKL public speech and presentation program supports each student to speak eloquently with a unique voice.

The DKL public speech and presentation program finds its basis in the canons of classical rhetoric. DKL speech teachers are trained in world-class theatre, media or journalism schools, and have been nurturing award winning students from age 8 to 15.

The DKL speech program trains students to craft a speech from the stage of conceptualization to researching, organizing, writing and delivering.

For a grade 2 student, DKL’s main task is to help him/her clarify the purpose of his/her speech, and to quickly balance himself/herself in front of an audience. For a grade 6 student, the DKL teacher would focus more on helping him/her find the key persuasion point, to connect with and to move the audience. Whether the student is a young beginner or he/she is ready for contest preparation, researching and writing as well as persuasion skills will always at the core of the DKL speech and presentation program.
